Key features and fixes:
- Experimental support for Bonsai archive nodes (without support for eth_getProof) with the data storage format X_BONSAI_ARCHIVE. Should be used for development and testing only, not for production systems.
- Improvement to eth_estimateGas to default to pending not latest block for estimation
- Improvement to eth_estimateGas to default to strict estimation
Noteworthy removals or changes
- Removal of private transaction and Tessera support
- Removal of smart-contract-based (onchain) permissioning
- --Xsnapsync-bft-enabled option removed (no longer needed as BFT snap sync is always enabled)
- --tx-pool-disable-locals option removed, --tx-pool-no-local-priority should be used instead
- Minimum version of Ubuntu increased from 20.04 to 22.04
